Buying, organizing and wrapping all of your holiday gifts can be overwhelming. My biggest piece of advice is plan, plan, plan! I like to make a gift planning chart early in the season so I can add in ideas when I think of them on the fly.

Following this template will allow you to keep track of budgeting, shopping and making sure that all your gifts arrive in time for the holidays.
Here are a few other tips to take the stress out of gift giving this year:
- Separate your gifts by category. For example, maybe you have family, work and gym categories, and you set a budget for each.
- I’d also recommend setting a deadline for yourself. This should be the date you either plan on having all gifts done and wrapped, or the date you need to ship them by so they arrive on time.
- Create a ‘Holiday Event’ section. This can be anything from volunteer functions to a cookie exchange party. Whenever you add a holiday event to your calendar, add it to your gift planner too. Having these pop-up events synced is crucial when you’re busy running all over the place. Don’t overlook dinner parties, either. Take the stress out of the evening by always having a bottle of wine on-hand rather than stopping last minute on the way to the party. Been there, done that.
